1. Guide tapes tied too tightlyTheoretically, this could be caused by guide tapes that are tied too tightly. However, loosening the tapes didn't show any obvious improvement. 2. Acceleration pulleys causing tensionHere is a deeper analysis, such obvious marks is was definitely happened on pressure, so we analyzed by this approach. During operation, another component that can put tension on the guide tapes is the acceleration pulleys on top. Each guide tape passes through a small grooved pulley up there. If the pulleys are damaged or aging and experience high resistance, it would also be one of the reasons causing the guide tapes to tension and tighten up. After full lubrication and replacement, and adjusting all guide tapes to an even and moderate tension, the issue has been successfully resolved. |
